Parkinson's Disease Clinic

Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson’s disease is an extremely challenging condition to manage well.  As well as the obvious affects of the condition on movement patients are afflicted in many other ways especially psychologically.  The drug treatment of Parkinson’s disease is a significant challenge for the patients and their doctors with serious risks of drug side effects and the potential for adverse drug interactions.

A full review of the patient’s problems takes time with a neurologist experienced in Parkinson’s disease and its treatment and a one hour appointment is offered to discuss all aspects of the patients care.  Given that for most patients this will be a one off review Dr Farmer will take great care to engage a friendly and constructive way with patient’s local team.

It is anticipated that insurance companies will not cover these appointments.

Time 5-6 PM Wednesdays at King Edward V 11 and St Agnes Hospital
